There is a lot of potential for using chatbots for marketing. For example, it is possible to use Facebook advertising to send users directly to a Messenger chatbot. Users interacting with the chatbot consent to be contacted by the bot at a later point in time. This means that the cost-per-acquisition of Messenger contacts can be much lower than traditional email marketing.
Pros: Botengine is a chatbot created by Livechat and we began using this ,because it was introduced to our team by Livechat. I like the ease of integration ,and the fact the customer care team setup and integrated Botengine with our existing Livechat solution ,with no technical assistance from our in-house programmers. Overall ,Botengine has enabled our customer care team respond to just the most complex of questions , whilst letting Botengine deal with easy queries from our clients.
Pros: The visual bot builder makes building complicated bots really easy without loosing the greater picture. And with all the functions that are offered you are not limited by what the bot can do. And things you currently can't do are worked on by the developers immediately to make the product better. It is amazing how fast they pump out great updates!

Cons: Botengine has reduced the workload on the helpdesk department . However ,I fear we may come one day have an advanced Botengine ,years down the line ; which is able to respond to the current complex queries we respond to and thus when that day comes , why would my employer keep me at the job ,when a Bot can do a better job ,without ever getting tired?
